Calif to Mt Rushmore

Question

Looking for best route from Calif to Mt Rushmore then over to Yellowstone. Will be driving motorhome pulling Jeep for toad. We are planning two weeks,I think it might be a little tight but that's all the time wife has off work. Hoping to get advice from others that have made the trip so we don't take roads that are not RV friendly.

Sturges Motorcycle Rally runs for the first two weeks in Aug. most RV parks are filled up and very expensive.

I know about the rally. We wont be going in August, just looking for a good route to take.
