Calif. travel
We will be leaving Morro bay on Aug. 2, 2014. Have a 36" class A motor-home towing a car. Need to get to Eureka, Ca. Don't really want to go thru San Francisco. Any thoughts?

If miles or time aren't a concern you could take 46 to 41 and intersect with the 5 at Kettleman City. Then you could cut over to the 101 by taking 20 through Clearlake or 299 at Redding. That way you would bypass the whole bay area.
X2! I take this route twice a year comming from northern calif. It is a RV easy route. A second choice would be to take 101 to Gilroy and then 152 over to I-5, then to hwy. 20.
