A good first stop would be Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton and then head over to Solvang for sightseeing/shopping/food
Or you can head towards the ocean on a winding two lane road and stay at Jalama State Beach (Good Hamburgers at the Snack Shop)... usually lots of Kite Surfers to watch
Drive on Pismo Beach for kicks.
Morro Rock (plus good campground)
San Simeon and Hearst Castle tour
Big Sur lots of scenic hikes and beaches
Carmel 17 mile drive
Monterey Bay (Aquarium & Cannery Row)
Ft Bragg Redwoods and the Skunk Train ride over to Willits
Redwoods- be sure to stop at all of the tourist traps....some are fun and interesting
Theres a couple of great campgrounds on the ocean at Wages Creek north of Ft Bragg.
