There are only a few restricted areas when you consider the thousands of miles of roads in California. When you start planning your trip post your ideas and the many Californians on line can give you assistance. An example is beautiful highway 1. Most of it is no problem for the RV tourist, however the area between Morro Bay and Carmel has turns so tight you can see your taillights. It also has cliffs dropping into the sea. For the most part you should have little or no concerns.
