I would definitely make reservations for wherever you plan to spend July 4! When
we went in 2009, we were in Seward for that holiday and very glad we had made reservations at
Stoney Creek RV Park in March of that year as there were no vacancies anywhere and the whole town was a madhouse! The only other reservations we made for the whole Alaska stay was Denali which you have already made. We have noticed more rigs on the road this year than in years past (better economy and cheaper fuel) so RV sites may be a little harder to come by.
