Discard - La, Es. Similar to English "The (this) door is very heavy" vs "Very heavy door" - the latter is shorter, easier to draw an attention, minor grammar imperfections are OK on signs.
No se baje a mano = Can't be lowered by hand. Correct, but No baje is shorter and more correct, being exactly "Do not lower". This is a sign, not a technical manual :)
PS: I would probably write "No bajes". Again, because this is Mexico, formal Usted is rarely used. At least, in "my" part of Mexico.
PPS: With all that grammar knowledge, still don't understand sh-t when they talk at their normal pace, 4 times faster than we normally do.
