A few years ago friends of ours moved to Victoria, BC from Ontario and purchased a house with a backyard waterfall. Come Fall, just like they did in Ontario, they disassembled the waterfall components and stored them safely in their shed. A few days later they were at a local garden center and asked what folks there did to prepare for winter. They were told, "NOTHING". So they went home and put it all back together again.
