Canadian Border and Propane Tanks ON?
we just heard that going from usa to Canada that you can be fined $1000 if you have your propane tanks ON in your RV. I can't verify this anywhere....can someone help me on this issue?

Every ferry I have been on, in both the US and Canada, has required me to turn off the propane and in some cases tag them. Never on a land crossing though. Never gone through any tunnels with the Rv so cannot comment about that.
