Canadian Border and Propane Tanks ON?
we just heard that going from usa to Canada that you can be fined $1000 if you have your propane tanks ON in your RV. I can't verify this anywhere....can someone help me on this issue?

Don't know what the law is and have never been checked at the border, but if you take the test for the over 4600 KG trailer license endorsement in BC and don't check the bottles are turned off during the pre trip, demerits and possibly a fail.
I never tow with them on anyway. Never found the need, the fridge an freezer stay cold longer than I want to tow in a day.
