This company may be worth checking into. Quite reasonable especially if you put a higher deductible like $1000. Seems like its OK for Canadians as well, and coverage for a weeks transit through the US with $1000 deductible is about $50. When i put my age (69) into the form and selected insurance (not incl US) for 6 months & $1000 deductible it came to about $750 US or $1000 Can. Not bad. You are not covered for terrorism, but it looks like pretty well everything else. Since Canadian medicare will cover a lot, a high deductible just to pretect yourself against something major seems workable to me.
