AIR EVAC seems to be the only open avenue?
Mexican non-private hospitals will stabilize a patient. Then pay for an ambulance to the nearest EVAC airfield?
IMSS and SEGURO popular are cash and carry. Credit cards accepted.
I was held in a Seguro Popular hospital for ten days because the surgeon was back logged. These hospitals have a PUBLIC ASSISTANCE department which I appealed to on the spot and seven of the ten days charges were nullified. My bill was still over a thousand dollars which I had to pay to get the cops off my elbows. This was for a broken arm/wrist.
