Apparently my wife has a group policy that includes travel as well through green cross. Right now she is covered through work (manulife). They had no issue paying a 3 day hospital stay in Mazatlan a couple years back. We have 1 year before that ends. I have not been able to peruse details yet. We put money aside years ago to finance medical insurance as we knew that expense woudl be coming up. Cost is not the consideration, we are willing to pay for not having to stay home in winter for as many years as possible. We just want to make sure we are covered even if it is expensive.
