The sole opioid available for dispensing in Mexico is TYLEX
.5 grain of codeine plus 500 mg of paracetamol TYLENOL.
Go ahead. Go for it. Prove me wrong :) A friendly bet.
Oxycodone, and Oxycontin are not even handled by the major proveedores (drug warehouses and importers) This includes all opioids. Andele get an Rx :)
BY THE WAY
That IMSS hospital like almost all that I have encountered REFUSED TO TAKE ME AS AN ER PATIENT. The reason given was: WE ARE OVERLOADED with IMSS members. They shuttle inquiries to Seguro Popular or to English speaking private hospitals.
They did not ask about my financial status, where I parked the Bentley. Try and find an IMSS hospital for non-life-threatening above stabilizing the patient care.
The lady that broke her leg in Tonotanaka RV park (San Carlos Guaymas) by missing a step exiting her RV paid a total of $9,900 US Dollars for week's stay in a IMSS hospital. I saw the bill. I STUDIED THE BILL. There were no private hospitals in 1988. That was thirty years ago.
My broken wrist TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR BILL occurred seven years ago.
Reading some of these replies to this topic reminds me of sitting around a campfire listening to miles-per-gallon claims. Life is, what it is. They loaded me into a Cruz Roja ambulance and first asked for a hundred and ten dollars for a fifty three mile transport.
MY BOTTOM LINE. Be prepared for anything. Make darned sure your ATM or credit card limit can cover the one-time discharge fee before anything bad happens. If you feel like it's a good idea, try and get an Rx before you leave home for an opioid medication. Perhaps forty 10mg oxycodone tablets. Good luck with the DEA paranoia in the states.
It's one thing to hypothesize some of this stuff and another to actually live it. "In theory" can be found in abundance in any Science Fiction space opera book.
