It is good to learn about the official position because this gives us the worst (or best) case scenario so we can make an informed choice. Far too much of the advice resulting from the sort of question asked at the beginning is "I did it, so it must be OK" when even the poorest student of basic logic knows full well that all it takes it ONE who tried and failed, to prove the theory. That one person was clearly identified in the referenced material right at the beginning and nothing has changed. The correct advice given by several posters here, including the last three Mexico "experts", has merely strengthened the logical argument.
