I read some of those sales pitches, watched a couple of their video's and couldnt help but think, "why didnt they just sign up for a tour or a cruise package?"
My idea of the RV travels is to have the freedom to wander a few days, find a spot I like stay a while, dont like an area, move on. All that freedom is lost.
I was, in an earlier life a Coast Guard investigations Officer, and was always amazed at the number of folks going to south Florida for Cruise vacations, Every single day of your vacation is rigidly controlled, what if you dont want to go to town one day? You now missed a port because the ship is moving. And dont even get into whats happening on the ships that passengers never know.
I just see the idea of being herded through a vacation, like cattle through the stockyards prior to slaughter as less than an ideal situation.
