This is an odd thread. Aren't some "caravans" actually setup and planned on this forum?
Every so often I have thought it would be fun to be a part of a caravan, visiting different areas.
When my family and a few other families have planned camping trips together, we figured that "caravaning" would not work well. Mostly due to departure time due to work, and I pointed out to my wife that I am a speed limit driver while most of the other drivers think speed limits are usually 20mph too slow.
Some day we might get up to Alaska. Who knows.
