Sad to say the "ugly American" still exists.:( However, the same can be said for all nationalities. There are, and always will be, those few who believe it's all about them!! But it does seem Americans have more of them than many other countries. Far Eastern tourists who come to US attractions are very guilty of it as well but I suspect that is a cultural difference not an attitude. It's a shame but just a symptom of our current times.
