An unpaid toll will NOT become a fine without some notification.
Just be sure that all of your registrations carry a working mailing address.
And.....those "toll by plate" locations usually have a LONG billing cycle and a LONG grace period for things just like this. Some even have a threshold where they don't bother to bill you if you only show up once or twice within a certain time period.
