I currently have an E-ZPass for our toad, and two E-ZPasses for our coach, all on the same account. The only reason I have two for the coach is to enable our NY Thruway Motorhome Plan where we only get charged passenger car per axle rates for the coach, both with and without the toad in tow, that calls for two different vehicle classifications. Otherwise the vehicle class and axle count would be determined at the individual toll booths, as it is in most other E-ZPass states.
While with Washington's Good To Go pass, I can literally drive through with 5 axles, turn around, put the same pass in the truck with no trailer and get charged for two axles.
No need for multiple devices.
PS, I can also switch it to the "off" position for commuter lanes, were two (or three) people in the vehicle means no toll
