A little advice about bears, when you see one down on all 4, feeding, they will most times stay where they are and pay you no attention, when you see one standing up on 2 legs, they are getting ready to run in any direction they please.
black bear is about 100 yd. up on the left shoulder of the highway, he is standing, as we approach to about 20 yards it decides to run across the highway,, BANG, he makes a mess of the fiberglass lower right corner of our front cap.
Didn't kill the bear, it ran off.
