Chicago to LA in the winter in class C without a basement

Thinking of going to LA during the winter months. Would leave Chicago with our class C plumbing winterized with the pink stuff. Would head directly South to maybe Baton Rouge area and then hopefu...

Is TN below the freeze line inJanuary?

I would probably take I-57 and I-55 to Memphis and depending on weather conditions either head for Dallas or drop further South to Baton Rouge and get in I-10 towards Houston area. Not sure which route might be best. Definitely want to avoid bad winter weather and freezing temps.
