Co-Pilot Binoculars

This is one aggravating subject. Mexicans place too many highway signs AFTER the turnoff and aged eyes are not as sharp as spring-chicken eyes.

After a lot of trial and error I have come to some conclusions

  • Having a pair of binoculars handy is never a hassle or waste of time
  • Helpful to make them easy to grab hard to misplace
  • 8x35 is a good compromise
  • Rubber eyesocket boots make them worth it the first bump you hit.

Those are called rubber eye cups. I only own Swarovski bino's. Expensive and worth every penny.
  • If I told the wife I needed binoculars to drive, she wouldn't ride with me any more.
  • I have "aged" eyes, and have never felt the need to use them as the mavagater!
  • Just make sure you're not pointing the binoculars at a military or federal policeman as you drive by.
