There are two seasons in Wyoming:

1. Winter
2. Highway Repair

We took a detour on a dirt road once on our way from Laramie to Casper. We unknowingly detoured through Dick Cheney's ranch. The Secret Service agents were very nice, as long as we stayed on the road.

Quiet. Lots of wildlife. I used to drive all over the state. There can be some delays in the summer for road improvements and herds of livestock. Don't drive at night.
