Coho Ferry

Catching the first ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles, it used to be that if you got to the ferry terminal the previous evening. they would let you in, put you in line, and then lock the gate behind you. You would then spend the night in your unit and be in line for the ferry in the morning. Do they still do this and if so, is there still pedestrian access in and out of the parking lot?
We are meeting friends in their unit at the terminal, and travelling down with them and are trying to co ordinate everything
  • I believe so, but there is a narrow window after the last ferry leaves to get in. However, do call and check with them as the terminal has been upgraded.
  • Yes, we have now taken that trip and there is a window between 4-4:30 when you can enter the terminal the night before and they lock the gate behind you. You can get in and out on foot though through a gate that they put a false lock on.
