Hwy 67 is NOT a dirt logging road as you suggest. It is a good paved hwy from Woodland Park north and meanders along the S. Platte River. It does have a couple of miles of gravel but is in great condition.
It is pretty but not spectacular. I drive it now and then to fish a little and target shoot. It is relaxing until you reach Sedalia, then you are back in traffic.
