Don't miss PEI and we had the best site at Twin Shores CG on Malbeque Bay. The swimming on the north shore of PEI is warm due to an eddy of the Gulf Stream. 75!! Even I got in! (And the oysters...) Other than this cg, we stayed in excellent municipal campgrounds all over the country. Bought a national parks pass early on our trip and it more than paid for itself. No hassles with our credit cards, except when one of them put a stop on it because we were moving around a lot. (And we had told them about the trip...) So better to have more than one. Don't bring citrus or fresh green veggies back into the US. Our limes and green onions got confiscated!! They weren't too interested in all of our wine, liquor, which we had bought in the US anyway...
