Costa Rica Comes Alive (Video + Stills)

"Rainforest Nature Nation" celebrates unusual creatures of Costa Rica, starring the Walking Stick, Bullet Ant, Blue Jeans Frog, Sloth, Iguanas, Leaf Cutter Ants, White Faced Monkeys, and the Strangler Fig, among others. Also featured are Crocodiles plus Caiman, and don't miss Croc feeding time. Costa Rica protects its wildlife in private reserves and national parks.

"Rainforest Nature Nation" can be viewed on the web if you have a high speed internet connection.

This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player. Absolutely no ads and no strings attached. I still sell absolutely nothing, travel videos being my hobby, not a business.

There are 40 of my other amateur travel videos on-line covering all seven continents. Visit Italy, England, Hawaii, Antarctica, Bali, China, Russia, Mayan Pyramids, Greece, or Turkey; see whales, penguins, or polar bears.

  • We were on a birding and photography jaunt last February. Arenal volcano was bright at night (full moon) and the next day as well. Seeing and photographing 35 species of hummingbird is something else (seeing hummers at La Paz Falls gardens might be cheating). We have run into a number of folks that have RV'ed down through Central America (they all seemed to stay at the CG in Yucatan we have spent 3 winters) and at the only RV park in Belize (Inglewood which is great) about 10 miles from only crossing into Guatemala. It is mainly Swiss, French and Germans but there was a great crew of national/international level white water kayakers from Washginton/BC headed down to Chile in 4 Springs

  • Spent three weeks in Costa Rica last year. Amazing country and refreshing upbeat attitude towards life by the people. We will hopefully return in the years to come although Ecuador, Chile and Peru are the next trip. Thanks for sharing the pics.
  • Thank you for sharing your photos and video. We just returned last week from spending 2 weeks touring around Costa Rica. Your pics brought back many memories. We also did not see Arenal Volcano - the cloud was very persistant. The Paol Volcano crater was also fogged in.

The flowers and birds were beautiful - what a nice country!
