cottonwood pass, colo

i know they repaved the pass, but can someone tell me about the grade percentage and length of the grades coming from beuna vista to taylor reservoir. we have a 33 foot gas motorhome towing a jeep. don't want to beat up the rv climbing long grades. thanks

    Went over it last summer and there’s nothing really steep… but it’s over 12,000’ which makes a gas engine struggle. If you’re worried about it, drive the jeep separately.

    Not sure how to answer, but it's a 2 lane pass. My last trip was several years ago in a 5er. Nothing to pucker up about, but I was very respectful of the decent and gearing down.

    You can take Hw 50 to 135 and avoid the pass if you're worried.
