for the trip from CA to SC it was roughly 750+ miles a day. We wanted to get their as quickly as possible. Basically the vacation started once we picked up my father-in-law in SC. From that point on it wasn't to bad.
Overall it was ok. Next vacation will be wither to MT Rushmore/Yellowstone or Up the coats to Alaska and back. This time we won't be making reservations so we won't have to be anywhere at any specific time.
