I love the flat landers, shoot we only have a dozen or so passes with 6 percent grades for 14 or more miles either way, run away shoots, snow on the mountain tops, chain-up laws in the winter an herds of elk, antelope, deer that love the front end of cars and trucks and of course beautiful scenery so whats the problem :)
Thousands of RV'ers survive the west every year, if you drive safely and do not try to out do some of the idiots that think they can go 80mph up and down the HWY and byways out here you will have a very nice trip and see some exciting an very beautiful scenery ...
Just don't get on any cow paths, but I have to tell you going to were you are headed you have to cross some type of mountain pass, just depends on how high ....
