It's been over 40C here in Monterrey for over a week and it isn't letting up. We are fortunate that our municipality was able to negotiate a lower electric rate from the CFE for our area.
A/C is on but not the whole house, just in one room at a time and the preference is the bedroom which has the smallest and most efficient mini split.
We had a power outage this afternoon but it only lastest 30 minutes and extended through different parts of 15 municipalities. I checked on line and it appears it is happening all around North America.
