The Eastern Shore is sort of my home turf. For CGs Killens Pond just S of Dover is a good one.Careful...easy to miss the turn off of 13. Shad Landing is another pretty one. St Michaels & the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is worth a look. Pretty town. No fast food chain restaurants at all. Closest CG for St Michaels is Martinak in Denton. Another nice SP.
Down near the CBBT lots of people like Kiptopeke SP. OK I guess. Not fussy about it myself. The CBBT is a hoot. 22 miles of it. You get out in the middle on a hazy day & land cannot be seen.
Oh yeah, the whole DELMARVA peninsula is flat. Flat, flat, flat. Gives Florida competition for being flat.
