Dempster HWY, Canada

I didn't have any trouble last Sept -- until I got to the Peel River ferry. Report The only diesel or gas available between the start of the Dempster and the Peel River is at Eagle Plains.

Campgrounds are closed, diesel is available, and you may very well hit snow.

Eagle Plains will let you park in the yard if their camping area is closed. Most campgrounds have their water shut off that time of year but will let you plug in. There are numerous places to boondock/drycamp though.

Eagle Plains is open year-round with fuel.
