My DW needs dental work that we cannot afford in the good ol' U.S. We are hoping to RV down to Yuma and walk across the border to Algodones to get the implants done. Have heard both good and bad. Looking for people who have gone thru the experience and the names of the dentists that are good. All help appreciated.
HMMMM
You say "we cannot afford in the good ol' U.S." but I see you have a TV and RV that are not cheap. I think you can afford it but you would rather make it sound like the US is the problem causing you to not afford the implants. You say "Have heard both good and bad" so how much bad have you heard about factual stories of people in the US having problems with implants?
I have worked building Dental Clinics for over 30 years and I see what they go thru to keep things sterile so you don't get an infection.
Your money do what you want. When it comes to my wives health or mine I will trust people here.
I was thinking the same thing. Someone said you can have it done here for 1500 dollars. If you can afford a RV you can afford 1500 dollars to a USA Dentist and keep the money local.
I have no idea what a implant is though? I have fillings, a wisdom tooth pulled, and one tooth pulled that was replaced with a wing bridge. That was 25 years or so ago and it's holding up just fine. My teeth are crooked but, there mine. Many of my friends, even ones 20 years younger then me, have dentures of some kind or another. I've never heard of a implant. Sounds like a expensive way to fix a simple problem. But!! let me say again! I have no idea of what one is or why your wife needs one. Maybe she is in pain and this is the best solution for all I know. I'm not criticizing, I just don't understand.
