Devils Postpile Nat'l Monument at Mammoth Lakes CA

I will be driving a smallish "C" Class next year and plan to visit Devils Postpile Nat'l Monument near Mammoth Lakes. Is the road down to the Devils Postpile Nat'l Monument suitable for a "C" Class RV...

I think you are allowed to drive in if very early in the day, before shuttle bus starts running. After that campers only. Check with Inyo NF when the spring season opens.
