In 2010, we got DTV all through PEI and up to Cape Breton in Nova Scotia on our tripod. It's a little weak so if you get clouds or rain, it will affect the reception. The Traveler is a bigger dish than our tripod but then it is trying to get three satellites so it may or may not work. You will probably have better luck with SD than HD since it will tune to the 101 satellite mainly.
