The Dempster is one of the places I haven't done yet. Does anyone have a good write-up with pictures (maybe a blog) that I can look at?Bill

yeah..I think it was the accent that threw me off.

Leg/foot/ankle is healing well. I am now on one crutch..two by days end. I go to the physio lab everyday and do stuff with the equipment.

The Yukon gov't has a nice Dempster Travelogue (6 MB) http://www.env.gov.yk.ca/publications-maps/documents/Dempster_Travelogue_2014.pdf

It includes maps and highlights of the trip.

My page is at http://yukonsights.ca/DempsterHwy.html but we haven't been north of the Arctic Circle since 1993. Will be heading there again in about six weeks.

My Dempster Highway page is done as a mile-by-mile guide, with photos from many of my 30 or so trips up and down it, most of them driving tour coaches.
