Here is a tip I learned from forum member Cross Country. If you encounter parks with water pressure so low the water will not rise to the filler neck try the following. Mount a 12 volt basic water pump ( Shurflo) on a board. I used a plastic cutting board. Attach a male and female hose end to the inlet and outlet. Make up some sort of 12 volt connection system. I used a 2 pin trailer connector. One end on the pump, the other on a convenient 12 volt source on your unit. I mounted a toggle switch on the plastic board, Hook up a garden hose to the outlet of the pump feeding your fresh water inlet( gravity fill). Hook up another hose from the inlet side of the pump to the park faucet. This will allow you to fill your tank quickly.

We do something like this in our little rig. The water goes through a two stage filter where one of the filters is 1 micron absolute. Once its in the tank we bleach it. For drinking it then passes through an ultraviolet filter before it hits the dispenser. So far no problems. Our big rig has essentially the same system except that it is permanently mounted instead of being mounted on a piece of plywood.
