driving from Ouray to Canyonlands NP
Google maps has you going CO 145 to CO 90. Looks like some switchbacks on CO 90 before you get to Utah. Has anybody driven this route? Or should I add 40 miles to trip and go up to Grand Junction a...

We traveled that route in the opposite direction (Moab to Ouray) 3 years ago pulling a 34' 5th wheel. There are a couple of areas with switchbacks but overall it was a pleasant drive with little traffic. it was our first time in that part of Colorado and would travel that way again if needed or maybe to explore the area some.
