Driving Yellowstone

Yes but it won't be a fun drive. Quite a few hairpin turns and grades. We came in east entrance and stayed at Fishing Bridge. 35' pulling a toad so as I said you can but it will be pretty slow in spots.

not a problem ,done several time in a 40 footer with a toad just don't plan on making very good time as one bison walking down the road or or one bear scratching his behind will stop traffic for miles

It will be a easy drive with your motorhome. We've done it a few times with our 40'. The only issue is the slowness of it because of the crowds and animals. If you can plan to leave from Cody or Jackson very early morning it will be a pleasant experience and you'll probably see animals that those latecomers won't. Rather than staying in Jackson, stay in Grand Teton Nat'l Park for the best experience. Colter Bay RV has hookups and if dry camping is o.k. then Colter Bay campground (next door to the RV park) or our favorite, Gros Ventre campground are the places to stay.

Yes! Great scenery and a moderate challenge...therefore fun!

good road, 45mph speed limit in the park, delays if there is an animal on or near the road. there might not be any good place for you to stop for a break, but you might get lucky :)

We did it with a 30" and toad, you will probably be glad you have your own bathroom and kitchen with you, especially if any elk or bison block the road. They live and move on their schedule.

Easy drive but it's going to take forever.... and that's if there are no animal sightings clogging up traffic. It will take a solid two hours from Cody before you even hit the loop.

Others have said yes you can but expect delays. The one I didn't see mentioned was the construction delays where stretches of road are one lane and it can be up to 2 hours before they reverse flow of traffic.I was caught in one and wished I had the coach instead of the toad.

Nice place and cheaper/not as crowded as in West Yellowstone. There are lots of places to see on that side of the park.

First time with an RV,"renting" (saying that the two drivers have driven school bus and semi so not expecting big issues with the first time in a 30' RV, please let me know if there are issues I'm not thinking of)
Our route is from western WI to Seattle in early June traveling to Rushmore, Devils Tower, Cody (if there is a good route), Yellowstone, Glacier, then to Seattle.
We have allowed 12 days for the trip.
We have watched some youtube videos but as they say "You don't know what you don't know"
I'm hoping for some advice.
