If the OP's truck is anything like some other European Expedition trucks that I've seen, your puny winter weather will be just a minor annoyance limited to just worrying about whether the pavement outside is a bit icy. Trouble is, regardless of the excellence of the vehicle's wintering capabilities, the time will come when that nicely heated black and grey tank needs emptying. Then it may come down to the sort of dilemma faced when travelling in south america - is it reasonable to dump the tank in thick brush miles from the nearest house - or in this case, into a snowbank deep in the forest.
Needs must eh?
