We bought the stove and the dryer in San Diego, they were installed in San Diego for natural gas and then shiped to Mexico, we have propane now and I managed to purchase the jets for the dryer and stove, the stove jets I found in Mexico, Bosch stove and the jet for the dryer came from the USA from the manufacturer.
If the jet that you are contemplating on modifying, you need to veryfy that it is bronze, that can be hammered with a ball peen hammer to close the orifice and then redrill to the correct size, I do not know what that drill size is going to be since you need to know what the burner requiers, other option is to close the hole by using an oxyacetilane torch and some bronze wire.
You might contact the manufacturer and see if they can either provide you with a correct jet for make, model and serial number, or the correct number drill for the jet you are going to modify.
