Mex: I remember when the first 15 year permits began. The mgr. of the CG bought the book that explains the law. It had one section that stated parts for a boat or RV with that TIP could bring in parts with no duty or IVA. But it never explained how to do this. I often bring in parts for our Bluebird. Usually I go in the nothing to declare. If inspected I give an explanation and I get a free pass. But only because the aduanero would not know how to process the transaction. If you need a broker it is not worth the PIA. If I had a copy of the regulation that would help.
