How much time will you have? I'd recommend allowing a lot for Newfoundland. It's a big island and you probably know ferry costs a bundle to get there and back. Worth it! A special place. We spent three weeks there last year and covered a lot of ground. Already thinking about when we'll head back up.
All told, we spent two months - to visit Maine's coast, the NB coast, PEI, Nova Scotia (Halifax and Cape Breton Island) and Newfoundland. Kept busy, glad we had that many weeks.
