Edmonton Alberta Area RV Spot

The only place we have stayed, close to Edmonton is at Spruce grove ( west of the city),

Edm rv parks are not the greatest. Wetaskiwin was OK, Camrose is nice(full service).In Edmonton we usually stay in Stoney Plain (west of Edm) but its not where you want to be. Camrose is likely your best bet.

X2 on Spruce Grove but on the west side. We dropped in there last summer and loved the place! Very clean, well designed, developed and well laid out FHU with lots of paved pull throughs. Great dog park adjacent to the campground and nearby shopping. We will definitely pull in there next time we are in Edmonton!

Miquelon Lk provincial park. 35 mins se of Edmonton. Wetaskiwin lions is a small campground but well kept. Right across from the wetaskiwin Reynolds museum is Prairie Breeze. Pretty darned open, with a few small trees but good place to stage as you sight see.

Another nice one in the Edmonton area is Devon Lions Campground. Large with many seasonal folks but very nice. Nice location as well. Next to the river. Of course it is located in Devon.

The Leduc Lions Campground is pretty nice. The newer section is wide open but the older section has some nice spots in the trees. If I recall ,the treed sites only have power and water.

Be aware that with the fires that are happening and the numbers of houses being damaged or destroyed there may not be very many available spaces in the Edmonton area.

Half Moon Lake resort was NOT good.

I suggest you stay clear of that area.
