Good luck finding no mountains! First is you f250 a diesel, V10 gasser?
A look at the chart will show most roads go north and south the few that go east to west ALL include mountains, but ARE good routes that truckers use every day. Most (as I recall) are 2-3 lane - NO superhighways here, Just snake like. You will NOT make up much time between Ed. and Sick.
A look at my charts - trying to catch your route would be to go S. from Ed. to 11, around Red Deer then W. to 93 then S. to 1 (TC) Then W. to Sickmoose. or just go S. to Cal. and then W. to Moose.
I did NOT include 16 - the Yellowhead as it would take you a way north.
From the MOOSE S. on 97A & 97 to Osoyoos. Good RV park - just E. of Oso. run by first nations - I think the name is Ink-A-MEEP.
Also, check road I believe the TC was washed out, but by Aug I am sure it would be fixed.
I believe there are lots of RV parks thru either route, BUT remember lots of your fellow Albertan's vacation at that time AND in BC.
Good luck
