Elk Falls, BC
We arrive from UK next week and start our trip on the Sunshine Coast. We aim to cross to the Island on Monday or Tuesday (1st/2nd Sept) and thought we would go for a couple of nights, weather permitting, to Elk Falls. However we read on the website:
"Attention Park Visitors – Important Notices Concerning Public Access
There are several changes to public access in and around Elk Falls Park as a result of the BC Hydro John Hart Generation Station Replacement Project and planned construction activities for permit holders."
Has anyone been recently and do the restrictions cause any problems and if so what? Would you still recommend staying here, or would you suggest finding another campground as a result of disruption, noise, etc.
