Entrance to West yellowstone

Plan on visiting West Yellowstone in a few weeks, plan on entering on hyw 20 from Idaho Falls, exiting 287/41 back over to I15 thru Ennis. Can I assume those roads are fine for 40'/w dinghy. Plan on staying at Grizzly RV. Any 'must see' suggestions, my first time there , how I missed it all these many years , i don't know.

  • On the south side of Rexburg on hwy 20 is Yellowstone Bear World.
This a drive thru animal park with lots of black bears. The very unique thing about this place is you can feed bottle feed the bear cubs. Check their web site for the details. You do have to reserve a time slot for feeding.
My wife got to do this and I scored major points!!!!!!!

  • By the way, enjoy that area, one of our favorites. Have safe travels!
  • No problem. We pull our 38' fiver with dually crew cab over those roads about every summer.
  • I was through there a week ago and the roads were in good shape. Lots of big rigs travel through there. You can spend lots of time in Yellowstone, but the first big bison lumbering along the side of the road makes the trip worthwhile. Have fun.
