Anyone on here have info on the EPass that one can buy in Florida and use in other states? This would be for a pick up and travel trailer. As of yet, no real routes planned, but traveling through Florida is much better on the toll road. I know the pass is useable in 18 states, and am interested in how much a RV adventure would use this option if one traveled Pennsylvania, etc.Also, what are some examples on rates to use the toll roads in a RV?Thanks

Do you mean "E-ZPass" rather than "EPass"? The battery less CFX EPass does not work in most E-ZPass states, but the battery powered E-ZPass works in all 18 member states including the CFX roads in Florida. The member states have various ways of calculating tolls, but many use the total axle count as the determining factor. Rates also vary by state, so it's difficult to accurately post examples that would be meaningful to you. We use our E-ZPass mostly in the Northeast, and have never needed it in Florida.

From experience in Florida, our EZ Pass does not work for the Florida toll roads. Florida has their own, "Sun Pass", which is unique to Florida and doesn't work on other toll roads such as WVA turnpike, Ohio TP or PA turnpike, unless something has recently changed.

From my understanding:EPass works the same as the SunPass just from a different agencyEPass Extra is essentially a SunPass and EZ Pass combined.SunPass is same as a EPass but issued by the state.E-Z Pass can be used on CFX roads in Florida plus all EZ Pass states.If you want the benefit of the EZ Pass plus the ability to use it where the SunPass is accepted, the EPass Extra is the way to go.There is talk that EZ-Pass is the system many other states are considering when incorporating other systems into their own. I can see the day where EZ_Pass will be accepted in most if not all states. CA and TX have been studying the ability to accept E_Z Pass within their systems.

I have a damaged windshield and want to replace it. What of the sun pass is it transferable to the new windshield as it is stuck to the old windshield.
