BTW there are no stations on the new Maztalan Durango Highway, you need to fill up just south of Mazatlan before attempting that one. It is a long steady climb eastbound, so you burn more fuel. Not too many places to pull off the road either.

From what you all have explained, I don't think I will need additional fuel capacity for anything other than peace of mind.
